Next term in writing I am going to try my best and work hard on improving vocabulary and punctuation. The reason why I am doing vocabulary  is because I really think I could do good in it if I try to find descriptive words to increase my status. And the reason why i’m doing punctuation is because I know that I need to improve, right now i’m doing alright but I would really like to see how much better I have grown through the year.

Today me and my class reflected on different aspects of sustainability in our school environment.

Something we do well is that we pick up rubbish when we see it lying around.

I would like us to improve on trying to not bring any rubbish to school so we don’t have to worry about putting our rubbish in the bin. The reason why I said that is because all the rubbish we take to the dump, big trucks come and take it and throw it underground and all the chemicals start to leak into the ground and ruin our land.

Kia ora! My name is Rohario-May. I am a 9 year old girl who is living in New Zealand. I am currently going to Kaingaroa School in the Far North as a year 6. I have 2 younger sisters. I love my family and friends very deeply. Also I really enjoy playing netball. That is my favourite sport. I like helping other students when needed. I also really enjoy spending time with my whanau and friends. This year I am looking forward to how much I have improved on my learning through my report and to experience a new teacher, class and students. A person who inspires me is Kate Heffernan. I am very excited to work with students I have not worked with before to see all of the interesting things we can create. Last of all is my goals. My goals are to keep my cool when things go wrong and always try my best.
